Flora and the world of flowers come to life and the first grazing animals enjoy the fresh greenery and mountain herbs of the Alpine flora in the alpine meadows. Forest forget-me-nots bloom first, followed soon after by gentians and pasque flowers. Finally, from the end of June, the alpine roses transform the alpine pastures into a pink carpet.
